Trend analysis of Ayurveda studies in Korea

This study analyzes the trends of studies on Ayurveda in Korea. is a natural healing system that heals body, mind, and soul as traditional medicine India. The importance being emphasized more domestically internationally, various methods theories increase an individual's immunity are re-evaluated. Against this background times, it urgently necessary to analyze studies. used domestic journals degree theses Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) from January 1997 June. data were searched through keywords ‘Ayurveda (Korean)’ or “Ayurveda.” For analysis, descriptive statistical analysis was performed. As result research, total 193 published, including 57 master's theses, 28 doctoral 108 academic theses. Among results, Mee-Sook Cheong (23 articles, 11.94%) wrote most research papers. In terms gender, there difference number female researchers nearly three times male researchers.
